Who We Are
Claremont Troop 402
Troop 402 welcomes scouts starting in the 5th grade and continuing until they turn 18 years old. We have a tradition of supporting Scouts leadership development and to achieve the rank of Eagle. Over 120 Troop 402 Scouts have achieved Scouting’s highest rank. We are an active outdoor troop focusing on backpacking, canoeing and low impact camping. We meet on Tuesdays at 7:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Claremont and are sponsored by American Legion Keith Powell Post 78. All are welcome!
The Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
